1/29/17 @ Breslin Center Wolverines vs. Spartans All Welcome on this Thread

Irvin and Walton 4-17 combined....said it after Indiana game we will not be good with those two leading the way.

Surprised Michigan kept it within single digits, especially with Irvin disappearing.

This game is just too thin. 5 decent players on a team with 13 scholarships. No excuse for it.

It was only close because Walton got to the line a ton and made 14-15 by himself. Some of them were generous calls in my opinion.

MSU should have won by double digits easy.

We need to deport Donnal and force him to play bball in the arctic circle of Canada. He could potentially be the 96th best player in that region (amongst pygmy Eskimos).

Mark Donnal
And yet he had 7 points lol. I agree he is a waste of a scholarship but Zak was held to 0 points. If he gets his average Michigan wins by 6 points. Man what a no show.

Donnal scored 7, but probably gave up 20 just by being on the floor. He couldn't guard a chair if his life depended on it and Stephen Hawking is a better rebounder.

It wasn't just Stauskas. We lost him, McGary, and GRob all in one draft. Plus Jordan Morgan was gone, whom I never thought we would miss so much.

We've been garbage ever since.

McGary barely played. Great run in the dance, but mostly injured otherwise.

GRIII and Morgan were bigger blows. You're right there. Just used Stauskas bc he was our best after Trey.

Our recruiting is such a wet dog fart now. Can't even recruit the state of Michigan.

Well, let's face it. Walton is probably the only player on this entire roster that should be starting on a big 10 basketball team. The other players are subs or bench players at best. Yes, even Mo Wagner...a big man should only start as a junior or senior after a few years of development, not be thrown into the mix as a freshman/sophomore. It's really a disservice to judge Wilson and Wagner by their play this year, as they are being thrown to the dogs at least a year before they should be. They should be on the bench learning behind am upperclassman starter. Instead, Michigan has Donnal...

Who is banana man? Donnal? Not really sure, there are quite a few players that fit this picture...

When McGary did play he was a great player for us though. If he had stuck around he would have made a world of difference in my opinion.

Zero road wins all year. ZERO.

Well, they have neutral court wins and Rutgers still on the schedule...

Let's face it. After last year, who thought Michigan would in at Breslin this year? No one. The 3 games this team really has swing and missed on are VT at home, AT Iowa, and Maryland at home. It isn't a horrible thing to lose at Breslin. They need to find some way to replace those 3 wins they missed out on, defend home court the rest of the way, and beat the chumps on the road

We shall see

Thing is, this team is extremely disabled. No excuse for this roster. Irvin and Walton have no place being the centerpiece of any team. They are complimentary players at best, not stars. The rest of the team should be biding their time on the bench learning behind talented upperclassmen, but they are being thrown into the fire before they should be. JB really screwed the pooch.

3 of MSU's freshmen stars are recruits that JB whiffed on...

Donnal is banana man. I gave him that nickname. Muscle definition of a banana.

He's the weakest Michigan player I can remember. Blake "Big Bird" McLimans may be on the same level, but he didn't play as much.
