2025-26 NCAA Final GM:Michigan 69 UConn 63 Final (National Champions) !

Anyway, as crappy as Michigan was playing all night, they still squeaked out a win and it’s still the national championship game.

So go blue and efff everybody else

I knocked my chair into a bookcase celebrating, and a pewter elephant fell and nailed me right in the back of my neck. My kids thought that was hilarious.
Lol, I have no idea how I hurt mine. One second Im pumped at the 0s on the clock, the next my neck is tight and in pain.

I bet the Sportsbook took a bath Line opened -6.5
I bet a few middles happened.

That's the thing... other than Yaxel, the other three were underused at their prior schools. Dusty brought out the best in them.

And he brought these guys together and produced a champion in one (1) season. That's a coaching achievement in and of itself.

It's not just a matter of spending $$$. Someone on twitter noted Kentucky spent more on their roster than we did, and you saw how their season went. and I don't think we were much an outlier - if we even did outspend - other big time programs like Duke, UNC, UCLA, UConn, Arizona, etc. I would list MSU there, but I don't know how much they actually spent (their fans sure whined all season that it wasn't enough).

And they were all good kids and seemed to like eachother and played unselfish basketball all season. You have to be a completely unrepentant Michigan hater to say anything bad about any of them, or this team as a whole.

I'm going to remember to bask in the glow of this championship for a while. 37 years since the last one...
