We are on the same beach as a year ago today on a working vacation for me and I'm reading the season preview again.

This time no Series-24 hanging over my head or plans to go to Utah.

And this year ...different expectations.

yeah, I was excited last year, but the nagging thought in the back of my head was that @Utah with a new coaching staff and QB was too much to overcome.

also at this same time last year, I was interviewing in Houston. moved here in October... watched the Northwestern game in a bar in Chicago with a bunch of my friends, then spent the remainder of the season watching games on our 19" LCD TV in a temportary apartment down here.

this season we're all settled in. looking forward to not having to deal with all sorts of shit - other than football - on Saturdays.

I dont think I have been this excited for a football season in a very long time. I knew hiring Harbaugh was a game changer but he has completely turning this around in a year. I thought we wouldnt be where we are till year 3 maybe.

And Bob will be camping on September 3rd. Thanks honey now I have to wait 32 days to see the wolverines on tv :/

**** yeah, bitches! August has come and September is slapping our asses, teasing us with promises of Roses. We're all hoping this season doesn't leave us wanting more, but can't stop ourselves from expecting the world.

just re-upped my alumni association membership for 3 years. Hope I get another one of those super nice embroidered towels!

had to reset my uniqname password yesterday. sent the request out & when I opened my email today I had one from UM's IT Help desk that said "Top of the Morning To you, Champ!"

Yay for Michigan, Michigan's number 1!
