Jackson Jobe returned to the mound last night with a brand new fastball and many more whiffs! The only “below average” pitch Jobe throws now is his sinker, which is still considerably above average when compared to other sinkers!
Jobe told us that moving to the center of the rubber helped clean up some of his mechanics. I’ve heard this now from a few pitchers. Your angle to the plate affects your biomechanics obviously but sometimes positioning can be used to improve them. EnoSarris
