I don't see any reason to believe that they don't periodically script plays early in a game, or script a series of playcalls to use throughout. It's not like these are four drunk dudes sitting at a bar yelling out ideas. I feel safe in assuming it is a coherent process since he's been using it for 11 years, and again, has a proven record of success.

The author says that. Maybe Fisch said more to lead him to believe that than what he provided to us, but at this point I'm considering that an embellishment. And Fisch's comment was strictly referring to beginning of games.

also, I don't think it's fair to imply I was acting like the playcalling resembled calls from 4 drunk dudes in a bar. I never said or implied anything even close to that. And not even 4 reasonably sober dudes in a bar. or 4 stoned dudes in a bar. or 4 dudes rolling on E in a bar, and yelling out playcalls while they dance with some chicks. or 4 dudes freaking out on coke and speed in a bar.

Even at their worst, Harbaugh & his staff's playcalling is better than any of that.
