Game #115: Detroit Tigers @ Seattle Mariners, Thursday August 6th , 2026, 4:10 Pm

I remember last year, tigers were riding high, mariners came to town right before the all start game and just demolished the tigers.

Paybacks a beeyuch.

Tigers Two shutouts in the same series by 8+ runs since
1946. September 4-6 (Cleveland

Tork 9 for 27= .333 since Clark been up !
Since his average dipped to .200to .206 he had it over .220. If we could just get him to .240 to .260 all of those warning track fly outs will Become homers. We have a couple 1B in the system. Briceno is a catcher and first basemen. But he bats left. We so need Tork because he bats right…I think Valencia can play 1B but I'm positive he can’t field as good as Tork. The other one is way down in west Michigan.

FIVE FOR FRIDAY.
Totally Tiger

The 2026 season marks the arrival of Detroit’s prospects. We’ve been promised this ever since 2020 but finally, this appears to be the real thing.
And it’s become more than a trickle.
No matter how close the Tigers get to the playoffs, this is going to be 2 months of sheer fun watching the rookies play.
However, there are also some more experienced players who are intriguing. Some who are just coming into their own. Others in their last year with the team.
Some who have changed positions. Others even still a mystery.
So who am I going to watch?
Any conversation is going to start with Kevin McGonigle. He’s proven he’s the real deal since Opening Day.
We know he will make absolutely everyone’s must-watch list so we’re going to exclude him from consideration. You know how I like to make everyone work for their answers.
I came up with 8 players I am most focused on watching. It was hard cutting 3 of them.
Here are the top 5 players I will be dropping everything to watch for the rest of the 2026 season.
