Game 42 Detroit Tigers vs. Miami Marlins, at Comerica Park, May 14, 2024 6:40 p.m. EST

Reese Olson is the only MLB pitcher to have a sub-2.25 ERA but an 0-4 or worse record over his first 8 starts of a season (since ERA became an official stat in both leagues in 1913).
No pitcher has thrown more innings without allowing a homer than Reese Olson (53) this season.

Javier Baez in the month of May: 3-36 (.083 batting average), Zero extra-base hits, 6 strikeouts, 0 walks.
He's making $25,000,000 this season.
As much as I am disappointed in the Tigers lack of run support, I am extremely happy with how Olson has been since being a Tiger. Hopefully his hot start isn't a blip on the radar and the Tigers have something great to build upon.

And the Tigers owe Baez an additional $73,000,000.

I love day games. I am really hoping for a good game out of Mize. He has been OK this year, but I was hoping for better. Flarhaty has been a pleasant surprise. Maeda has been pretty much what I expected.
