Game #48: Detroit Tigers @ St Louis Cardinals, Monday May 19, 2025, 7:45 Pm

You still have to be worried . Mize only 7 starts. (Hamstring ) Olson only 9 starts (finger inflammation) Not the greatest sign.
I typically don't worry about it too much. Pitchers getting injured is a huge part of the game now just because they are pitching 100% all of the time.

Reese Olson (finger inflammation) placed on 15-day IL.

Montero stinks tonight.
He just can’t get lefty’s out most of the time.
Tigers trail 5-0
Three singles to start the inning followed by crap.

Well he picked a runner off. Yippee .

Our infield is awful today
Was it curious the infield wasn’t in with the bases loaded ?
They were at double play depth. If infield is in that dribble to short probably gets the out at home. (3rd run) Just curious.

Gray had a 4.50 era when the game started. 10 k’s later it’s closing in on under 4.

Montero he nice fast reflexes. I guess he is just. #5 or #6 innings eater type pitcher. Every now and then he can have a decent night if it is mostly a righty lineup.
