Sorry Mistake GIF

Missed the Thursday afternoon thread .... AGAIN. I was interviewing an author for my podcast. Is that a sufficient excuse?
There no excuse just results, Colt just homer

Colt Keith hits first homer of season as Tigers rout Twins.
The big dig continues.
Buried by a miserable May, the Tigers just keep swinging — and winning — in June. They hit a season-high six home runs, including Colt Keith's first of the season, and Keider Montero was stellar in a 11-0 win over the Minnesota Twins on a glorious Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.

Detroit Tigers win third straight series behind offensive blasts.
In his 63rd game, Detroit Tigers third baseman Colt Keith finally got onto the home run board.
And the rest of his teammates joined the hit parade as the Tigers set a season-high in home runs.
With his first home run of the season, Keith’s two-run home run in the sixth inning helped power an 11-0 win over the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park on Thursday, June 11. The win secured a series win for the Tigers, their third of the month as Detroit improved to 7-2 in June and 29-40 overall.

Had to leave for a doctor appointment, so missed some HOMERUNS. So her WP IG got another one, just keeping up with the rest of the team. Tigers hit SIX of them. Main reason I do not put much believe in saves these days. Who gets one in a 11-0 dame?
Any way its a win for the Tigers.

On yesterday game thread I Mentioned .
"What has happened to Keith"

He has his 1st homer and 3 rbis today. This offense needs him .
I'm in target so missed the call sadly .
Ok, now talk some shit about short and perez.. Need them too. I do know Perez homered today, but it was off a position player, maybe jahmai jones?

Make this make sense.

Tigers claim OF James Outman from Twins, Javy Báez moved to 60-day IL.
Outman is out of options, so he’s joining the Tigers. Does this mean Jahmai Jones is done?

He had a phenomenal rookie year in 2023, posting a .790 OPS (114 OPS+) in 567 plate appearances with 23 home runs and 16 stolen bases. Since that season, he’s hit just .144 with a .520 OPS (45 OPS+) in 374 plate appearances and has struck out a whopping 39.3 percent of the time.

Tigers claim former Dodgers rookie of the year candidate from Twins.
Uh....weird.

Tigers take series from Twins, then take an outfielder from them, too.
Tigers pickup James Outman can play all three outfield positions, and has played mostly center field in 2026.
The Tigers took the series from the Minnesota Twins. Then they took an outfielder from the Twins.
The Tigers announced Thursday afternoon that they have claimed veteran outfielder James Outman off waivers from the Twins. Outman, who hit 23 home runs in 2023 for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was designated for assignment by the Twins earlier this month.
To make room on the 40-man roster for Outman, the Tigers transferred Javy Báez (ankle) to the 60-day injured list. Outman is out of minor-league options, signaling he might join the Tigers active roster before Friday's series opener in Cleveland. The Tigers would have to clear a roster space to make room.

Tigers claim Twins OF James Outman, trade for reliever dominating in Triple-A.
The Detroit Tigers claimed outfielder James Outman off waivers from the Minnesota Twins following their 11-0 win over Minnesota on Thursday, June 11, at Comerica Park.
Outman, 29, debuted for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2022 and put up a sterling rookie season in 2023, slashing .248/.353/.437 with 23 home runs and 16 stolen bases over 151 games. He has yet to put up positive value in three seasons after his breakout season, however, hitting a meager .144 in 334 at-bats since the start of 2024.

Idk this trade seems weird. Makes me think Harris doesn't like his players at Toledo. We have Malgeri . Give him a shot.
