The Tigers today activated LHP Tarik Skubal off the 15-day injured list and optioned RHP Ty Madden to Triple-A Toledo. Additionally, RHP Jack Flaherty was placed on the 15-day injured list with a left peroneal strain and INF Hao-Yu Lee was recalled from Triple-A.

The Tigers today activated RHP Kenley Jansen off the 10-day injured list, selected the contract of RHP Jacob Waguespack (#58) and added OF James Outman (#43) to the active roster. All three players are available last night in the series opener at Cleveland.
To make room on the active roster, RHP Beau Brieske was optioned to Triple-A Toledo after yesterday’s game, INF Zack Short was designated for assignment and RHP Brenan Hanifee was optioned to Triple-A. Say goodbye to Zach Short everyone.

Fetter in conjunction with Dillon Dingler have transformed how they sequence
Ty Madden, very few FB for strikes, and the CB cutter split is really really good.

Their absence has flown a bit under the radar with all the other iniuries, but the Tigers really miss Parker Meadows + Javy Báez. Detroit has a bottom 3 defense in MLB. Meadows + Báez are not only the Tigers’ 2 best non-catcher defenders, they also bring some juice to the lineup.

Thats hilarious. i saw jack fall off the mound, i'm thinking 'there is a 60 day IL trip', but he kept going on.. figure it was fine..

Ty madden was the only reliever that has shown promise. This is such a poorly ran team. Harris is a ****ing disgrace

It feels like they are running this club and banking on a work stoppage next season. Idk. Maybe to have more team control over some players. That month of May was so botched by Harris and
AJ .

Tigers have nice guys on the team, but nice doesn't work when you're batting .138
Jones, Perez, Vierling, and before he was dfa'ed Zach Short. Nice guys, but as players they suck, and wouldn't sniff a spot on the 26 man roster on any playoff contending team, so this tells us something about the smartest man in the room and his plan.

Dingler has to shorten his swing on 2 strikes to move runners over. Not a good at bat.

Greene seems to fail alot with runners on base.

I so dislike Jones now.
I think all tiger hitters should be guessing change up when we have 2 strikes on us.
