GAME 71 - Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Guardians, Saturday, June 13, 2026 4:10 PM

Well, that didn't take long, 3 to 1, it's a bit different Skubal pitching to a patient well coached ML team, compared to his start with the Whitecaps.
Tigers 1 for 7 risp.

Dingler triples.
Greene fails.. k's on slow crap.
Ph- Carpenter hbp 0-2 pitch.
Tork 0-2, 1-2 K's on waste pitch.
Keith F-8.

Wow Greene is just awful with runners on. Fails again with runner on 3rd ZERO outs.

Tork K's on a waste pitch. Brilliant pitching. He fails with runner on 3rd and 1 out.

Runner on 3rd ZERO outs.
Middle of order. Just so bad.
Yikes.

Tork K's on another waste pitch. Frustrating.

Tigers today

RISP1-11 (Jones 0-2, Vierling 0-1, Greene 0-2, Dingler 1-2, Torkelson 0-2, Keith 0-1, McGonigle 0-1)

Tigers are embarrassing again.

4-2 kc
2-5 Minnesota
0-6 Cleveland
0-3 white sox
======
6-16 verses central.

That was the definition of a terrible, unfocused game in terms of offense. Isn’t there any collective intelligence there? No pitch recognition or strike zone adherence at all.

score 1 run in the first inning... score no more the rest of the game..

This happens a whole lot with this team..

4 years into the Harris regime and the Tigers are fully Scott Harris creation.
Position side they have 2 premier players (Dingler McGonigle) 1 very good (Greene)
1 decent Torres who is leaving in a trade or FA, 5 just some sub 2 WAR
and no real impact. Unaccepptable, and not even one good platoon side guy.

Scott Harris and Jeff Greenberg will have instructed the marketing department to prepare the new narrative after the trades of Tarik Skubal, Casey Mize, Gleybor Torres, the new era of Tigers baseball is upon us. We finally have a system that's all created in the Harris regime. Just those aforementioned players and a bunch of 4AAAA players.
The players we hear about in the minors are in early development stages.

Forget Liranzo at first base, .220 for 2 years and makes Tork look like a gold glove 1st baseman.

I am starting to believe we have been sold a Brooklyn bridge by the Tigers PR and the 3 Detroit newspaper Tigers beat writers.
