Dillon Dingler has 18 HR and 55 RBI. The last Tigers player to reach those numbers by his 70th game played in a season was Miguel Cabrera, who did so in his 2013 MVP campaign (19 HR and 71 RBI). Dillon Dingler is 6th in MLB in RBI.

Dillon Dingler is just two home runs away from being the 20th catcher in team history to hit 20 home runs, joining the last one to do it, Jake Rogers, in 2023 and we are not at the All-Star break.

Dillon Dingler leads the majors with 33 two-out RBI this season. He's one of only four Tigers in the last 50 years to exceed 30 two-out RBI before the All-Star Break, joining Miguel Cabrera (37, 2013), Prince Fielder (34, 2013) and Mickey Tettleton (34, 1993).

The Erie Seawolves finish the Eastern League’s first half at 36-32. The last time Erie finished a half with a losing record was June 2019. Second half starts Tuesday.

Charlie Christensen (DET) is one of the most intriguing arms in Lo-AHis side arm delivery and elite extension (7 ft) create a deceptive view for batters and has helped him register a an outstanding 39.2 K% and 1.96 FIP with an elite 67.4 Strike%. His slider has a 50.0 Whiff%.

OF Max Clark has hits in his last 8 games, going 13/35 (.371).

Detroit Tigers MLB Draft 2026 Preview: Pitchers.
TMLR
The Tigers 2026 MLB Draft thread is already up.

Via Tigers Notes: Tigers pitchers have turned in a 3.15 team ERA in June, the best mark in the majors. The Yankees are the next-closest A.L. club way off in the distance with a 3.81 team ERA this month, Detroit's last June in this neighborhood was a 3.32 team ERA in June of 2006. It's last better June (non-strike edition) was a 2.82 team ERA a mere 46 years ago in 1980.
The Scott Harris plan seems to have been over-emphasizing pitching and caring less about offense - relying on year-over-year growth, McGonigle, etc. It's worked on the pitching end; it's failed on the offensive end. And the result is a team way under .500.

Riley Greene falls among outfielders in 2nd update of All-Star voting.
Detroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene has started the All-Star Game before.
It might not happen this time.
Greene has fallen from fifth place to ninth place among American League outfielders in fan voting for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, which is set for July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The 25-year-old needs to rank within the top six among AL outfielders to advance to the second round of fan voting, thus opening the door to starting the All-Star Game.
Freep

Flaherty to make rehab start Tuesday, could be days from return to Tigers.

Leadoff double for tork and keith, auto outman and Lee all k and its wasted. **** this team

Hate leaving a runner stranded at third with one out.

422 Foot bomb from Greene 5-1

Up 5-1 and auto Outman has stuck out in the 2nd, 3rd and 5 innings. Impressive find by Harris

On cue this dipshit relief pitcher hits a batter then gives up a homer.
It’s now 5-3. Anderson just blows.

Do we tip pitches ? Because this pen is beyond frustrating.
Every ball hit off Anderson seems to go real deep.

Anderson tips his changeups right into the upper strike zone periodically.

We have seen this before.
Let the ball go. Know where your fielders are….
I know it’s a hot smash right at him.

I think he missed him. Im wrong again.
Tough one to over turn come on ump.

We seem really slow. Great play by Yankees Ss.
They made 2 great plays in the 8th.
