Well isn't that great news. How long will that take to heal up?Now we know what the reason was that Will Vest was having a tough time of it pitching in relief.
Tigers reliever Will Vest diagnosed with stress fracture in right elbow.
Reliever Will Vest was back in the clubhouse Friday after spending a week in Dallas getting multiple medical opinions on his aching right elbow.
The final diagnosis, as announced by manager AJ Hinch before the game: Vest has a stress fracture in a bone at the back of his right elbow. The good news, the injury does not require surgery.
"Now we have an actual plan moving forward, and that's the good part," Hinch said. "All that stuff sounds scary and we don't really know what is going on. Then you get a battery of tests and we can react accordingly."

No surgery, and then some pitching to see how his elbow responds after his elbow heals, hoping maybe at the end of August or early September, we hope.Well isn't that great news. How long will that take to heal up?
