Torkelson is an enigma. He has bouts of frustrating at bats, and with risp, and we are told that analytics have him as a terrible fielding first baseman, and yet he hits home runs in bunches, and the eye tests says he is a good fielding first baseman and can scoop low throws from around the infield. I think for most all of us if he could get his average up 40 to 50 points we would be content.
