Learn to drink your coffee straight, man. That's the best and the most healthy. You really do learn to taste the bean that way. I never truly appreciated coffee when i was throwing in sweetener and/or milk.

I'm picking up my diet again. Works like a champ when I do, but I make exceptions for social situations and made so many exceptions/excuses around Christmas, I just dropped it for a while. Gained a bit over half of what I lost back; so now it's time to start up again. Got over the hump with the tough stuff driving the excuses.

When you're counting calories coffee is one of the greatest things there is. It's a zero calorie indulgence.

Hmmmmmm don't know if serious

Mostly was kidding, although I really have not heard of an electrolyte test or what the proper electrolyte level or balance should be.

I take a potassium supplement every day shortly before my workout, because I get horrible leg cramps.

Wow! I'm surprised at your age that you've never seen your blood work. I have bloodwork done once per year and always ask the doctor to see it. It shows all kinds of things.

Yep, potassium is a big one and so is Vitamin D. It's good to know if you're low, high, or just right in these 2 things especially if you are physically active.

I finally had a complete physical done. found I'm low in vitamin D. i started taking supplements for that, and felt better... less random aches and pains.

i usually try not to overdue vitamins. i try to eat a balanced diet, and thats supposed to provide all the nutrients needed.

you got the saying wrong there, tubby.

there is only one (1) champ. so its "works like THE Champ."

Oh, I see how that might be confusing. What I mean is that it functions as desired, not that it talks about Michigan message board stuff all day.

Before taking a break, I was at my college graduation weight.

Yeah I get bloodwork every year and every year there's a printout and everything is normal-cholesterol, triglycerides, lipids, blood sugar, liver function, HIV negative, all that-I've just never seen a report on my electrolytes. I've never heard of that being tested for.

Now it could be that it's always been on the print out and I never paid attention to it, I don't know-When every box is checked "normal" I'm all like "OK, cool."

I once had a brain scan. The evaluation came back: "unremarkable", which is what I was supposed to want...but it still felt like a bit of a dig.

I've fluctuated a bit, bit been within 10-15 lbs of college graduation weight, although I do feel like my metabolism is starting to slow down now.

I attributed most of the weight gain to eating out and heavy drinking. now its mostly from eating.
