Rutgers Scarlet Knights are comin' to town!

This one is going to determine who the worst, like THE WORST, team in the conference is. Both teams are currently unranked (heh), 2-7 (0-6), with one (1) win against an FBS opponent each. Because there are no more ties allowed in college football, that ends Saturday! Somebody is going home happy after this one, safe in the knowledge they are not the worst team in the conference.

looks like Vegas thinks that somebody is going to be MSU... currently 14 - 15 1/2 point favorites in this barn burner... though it's still unclear who will be under center for MSU, with O'Connor now banged up, and Lewerke out for the season. Do they have a guy who can throw a pass?

This one is a candidate for prime time... on Friday night. but instead kicks off at noon Saturday.

The Battle for the Bottom

The Bruiser for the Basement

The Saturday Afternoon Pillow Fight

The Brawl at The (low rent) Strip Mall

help me out here...

Tickets for this one currently starting at $6 on stubhub, but there's still plenty of time left. No rush. Wonder if sbee will be there? He could bring johnny2times, and the rest of them, and still have money left over for chips and salsa!

I still don't get it. Sparty is more talented than at least 4 or 5 teams that they lost to. While their misfortune makes me happy, I just wonder what's going on in their locker room that has caused this epic collapse. Unlike us in 08, they can't blame a huge dip in talent or coaching/system change.

$6. Yikes.

I thought of another marketing slogan for this game:

The Tussle for the Toilet

The Six Dollar Standoff

The Walk-on Bowl

The AOL.com Bowl

The How long before Malik McDowell is injured Again Game

The Boogers vs OSU JV team Wannabes

Mark Dantonio's last rodeo

The Nightees vs the Spartees. Watch out! There's gonna be scratching and biting!

So at $6 for a ticket, it was over 3000x more expensive to sit behind home plate for Game 5 in Wrigley

I will go with

The Toilet Bowl
The battle for the golden plunger!

On a serious note were were ever last in the B10 during the RR or Hoke years years?

I have heard rumors that a big part of the MSU locker room issues is McDowell. He has been acting like a prima dona ass the whole year and blaming everyone but himself.

Yep, heard the same thing. Looks like we dodged a bullet with that one.

He sure was talking a lot during our game. Every time they showed him between plays, he was barking at our guys...even when they were down three scores.

he's like the spartanmack of MSU football

If you are winning, there's no issues in the locker. If you are losing, there are locker room problems. Typically the way things go in sports.

Locker room issues are 990th on the list of why they suck. Basically one or two impact players, a bunch of MAC-level guys, dealing with some injuries, really really bad coaching.

Not to go completely off the rails, but Draymond is such a weird case. He was always a passionate dude but he played within himself and seemed like such a team-first guy at MSU. He's everything I wish Michigan had.

And then he got into the NBA and turned into this rebel. Very odd.

I just meant that he runs his mouth when his team is losing and runs his mouth all the time.

I guess it's a chicken and egg sort of thing. Word is that he was like this during the entire offseason...a real problem from the get-go.

Then again, letting someone be like this is bad coaching.
