John Beilein trying to fix players GPS on defense

Our biggest problem is probably the fact that we don't have a single good defender on the team. We recruit strictly for shooting and offense. We ignore athleticism and strength. That's why we have all these skinny, supposedly offensively skilled kids coming in. Takes them a few years to adjust to the physicality of the Big 10. Some never catch up.

Also, it's pretty damn ridiculous that we're still talking about trying to teach this team how to properly close out on shooters. This is a team that starts two seniors, a junior, and a redshirt sophomore. Donnal and Robinson come off the bench as a senior and redshirt junior.

Despite this, we're still trying to teach them one of the fundamentals of ****ing basketball!

Can Manuel start getting in Juwan Howard's ear about his interest in taking over this program? That's my super late Christmas wish.

Manuel has been the quietest AD I can ever remember. If that's good or bad I don't know. Has he done ANYTHING in his tenure?

He got ND back on the schedule, faster than people said was possible.

He stood up to the B1G/BTN on Friday night games.

I'll take a "quiet" AD all day, FWIW.
