I watched a lot of games visiting my daughter in Mid-Michigan over the past 12 days. She's not normally interested in sports, but this tournament has captivated her. Good times, even when Turkey scored that winning goal over the US in extra time.

Still cant wrap my head around offside and why players constantly flail on the grass, holding their legs.

Offsides gives the officials a chance to control the outcome of games, and the flailing on the grass is the same thing James Harden does in the NBA when he flails his arms in the air and falls on the court whenever an opposing player gets too close to him.

USA is up 1-0 at halftime. They also had a goal disallowed via a really tight offsides.

At the 65 minute of the second half up 1-0. USA got a Red card.
So we were down to 10 men. . I the 82 minute Till,am rammed a free kick home for a 2-0 Cushion. They held on and won.
