Michigan 4 Arizona St. 1 Final

Young Michigan team improves to 4-3-1 ranked number 17 before this game. Had a tough weekend last we losing to Vermont 3--0 and Dartmouth 3-2 out east . Next. Week we come home for two verses top five Boston U. This game was much tougher then the score shows.

What NCAA Division or Conference or whatever do they play in?

I think they said independent on the TV show. Before they played in a lower level ACHA divison 1 from 1993-2014 wining it in 2013. Last season they played half in half. This year I think it's all D-1. Our young team needed a win .. AZ had a 5 on 3 for 50 seconds with ten minutes left down 3-1 and had some great chances but right as we killed the first penalty we took puck away and scored a shorty to seal it.

They have to be the first generally pack 12 or SEC team to be playing hockey at the NCAA level right?

If Michigan gets knocked out of contention for the national championship of hockey then I'm going to root for Alabama Huntsville. Or Arizona State. Or maybe that Alabama Huntsville and Arizona State will meet for the national championship.
