Michigan wins!!

Just got back from the game. So many ups and downs. Special teams and field position were key.

After people started rushing the field I was like, **** it...I might only have one chance to ever do this. So I jumped over the wall. So crazy, so many people.

Best thing ever was the look on Spartan fans faces when they were making the trek up towards the exits.

anyone else watch our defense and think back in shock as to how much has changed in 2 years? And who would have guessed just 2 years ago that Gibbons would be clutch in big games.

Great point. Just texted my buddy, a WVU grad telling him I know how he feels, as WVU is down 52-7 at home to KSU.

Yep I think Geno may have lost his Sept Heisman

I know U of M isnt a great team but we are a good team and we have a good shot to win the B10. But the change has just been dramatic and its not like we have changed that many players out. Its all attitude and fighting to the whistle.

But the previous coach had the whole "hard edge" thing going.... Maybe there's more to this staffs defensive philosophy. Another earth shattering post, I know...

I liked when K-State was good (referencing the Geno losing Heisman). I remember the days when they had Michael Bishop, Terrence Newman, and Darren Sproles. That was a great team. Looks like they are back.

Is there a more underrated coach in college football the last 25 years or so than Bill Stewart?

KState was NOTHING before him and even worse after he left. Wonder how many more years he has in him...

I am honestly clueless as to how he turned Collin Klein into a good QB. Not recruited by anyone, and when you watch him, you just can't understand how he does good things. Dude is a potential Heisman winner.

Yup we do not win this type of game with rich rod as coach.... 4 field goals and defensive stops...Are you kidding me... Poor play calling bu Borges today... Do we not scout other teams?

This win might actually be good for state. With a bad season our coach is less likely to leave to a big school or the NFL. As a side note, Pat Narduzzi will be gone soon.

Sometimes it just clicks for players. Snyder seems like a good enough coach, but he's old and looks like he should be behind the pulpit of a crusty boring church. Not sure he should be getting the credit for the light bulb coming on for the QB.

Maybe though... Who knows.

We went down on the field, too!

I think its footwork. They talked about it on Inside Michigan Football

I don't know why we'd even consider it, but I'd be willing to bet that both teams would've scored more points if RR was coaching Michigan.

OR if you're RR, then these players would be playing the same if he were the coach, but since he got fired, these players got stronger, more experienced, and healthy.

I am not sure if we would have scored more. Maybe less seeing we couldnt kick a short fg to save our lives those 3 years. I can say with certainty that Sparty would have scored a few more points.
