Holloman commits to NC State. Good luck to him. Going to a middle of the pack ACC team seems like an obvious trade down which should tell him where he stands as a starting point guard if that is in fact why he transferred.

Oops, NC State just picked up the #1 pg in the portal PJ Haggerty. 2nd team all american this season. So much for more point guard minutes for Tre.

Cam Ward puts up 23 pts and grabs 9 rebounds in Iverson Classic. He seemed to mostly have dunks and layups as his highlights, don't recall seeing anything longer than a turnaround jumper in the post in his highlight reel from the game.

He looked pretty dominant but he still has to transition to a game where dunks and layups will be harder to come by against bigger and faster competition, especially if they don't have to worry about him shooting the ball beyond 10 feet.

In other news Acaden Lewis picks Villanova - looks like we were never in the hunt despite what seem to be some decent ties to MSU given he played AAU ball with Cam Ward. I can't stand Villanova - and there are tons of alum out here on the east coast. They give dook fans a run for their money as biggest douchebag basketball fans.
