OT: Brionte Dunn Kicked off OSU

breaking unspecified team rules.

huh... must have been a pretty serious team rule if violating it lead to being kicked off an Urban Meyer-coached team.

wonder if/when the other shoe will drop on this one?

The phrase I see on other boards is "altercation with a woman". That's on Meyer's list of automatic boot off the team offenses.

one of the few! But he does have daughters so as a father of a daughter that does change how you look at that issue or at least it should.

Some were also speculating that they had tried to get him to transfer to clear a spot but he wouldnt. He really hasnt developed like many thought he would. Much like Derrick Green for us.

Meyer didn't seem to care about leaving Carlos Hyde on the team after his altercation with a woman.

Altercation = hitting a woman in the face.

He didn't seem to have a problem with Aaron Hernandez murdering and gang banging in Gainesville.

Just saw this on the ESPN feed:

Bob Stoops, when asked about the decision to keep RB Joe Mixon on the team. "You're talking about a situation that occurred three summers ago. Joe Mixon was punished. He's met all the conditions that we put in front of him." Mixon was suspended for the 2014 season after punching a female OU student, breaking several bones in her face.

based on what I read about that incident, the Joe Mixon decision is brutal and inexcusable.

this one is awful as well. there was some talk of Mullen replacing Brady Hoke here. damn glad that never came to fruition.

what the hell is wrong with some of these kids? and how can you defend keeping them on the team when there's video of it, AND it looks really, really bad? It would at least be debatable (but still wrong) if the coach keeps them on the team claiming its he said/she said, but you have video of your guy pummelling a girl, you psycho. kick him off the team and don't give it a second thought.

yup...I was just glossing over the Mixon story because it seems to be so common...until I read the last line.

"after punching a female OU student, breaking several bones in her face"

Damn!

Yep. it was domestic abuse. Dunn beat his girlfriend and choked her, left, came back and gave her some more.

I mean, it's never okay, but I really don't understand why any D-1 athlete at a school that worships athletics would beat/punch/physically harm a girl. she gives you shit? just leave and go bang someone else. they'll be practically lined up for you.

Should be able to blame Obama somehow.
