Other Games Week 10

You can't expect him to turn a program around in only 5 years. These things take time. He needs at least 10 years to get the right guys in there for his system.

Mike Stoops left the cupboard bare.

a group of fans who just hate RichRod are spreading nasty rumors on twitter, and recruits see those rumors and decide to go somewhere else.

the rich alumni are opposing him because they want a more conservative coach, and like to stick it to the fans in the cheap seats who like seeing more touchdowns and wins.

The dog ate his homework.

Lloyd Carr moved to Tucson to keep undermining RichRod behind the scenes. That Lloyd Carr is a mischievous and crafty foe.

The DC doesn't know how to run the 3-3-5. And it's not RichRod's fault that the DCs he keeps hiring do not know how to run the 3-3-5.

Right. Look at Harbaugh. It takes time and your own players to be successful.

Rich Rod, still making history. Jeez, I have almost gotten over the nightmare years he brought to Michigan. Imagine Arizona is probably going to fire him at the end of this season, if not sooner.

I dont think they can him just yet. Who else are they going to get? If RR has a good qb, he has exciting offenses. He had a good one his first year. Didn't he go 10-3 with Stoops' guys his first or second year and to the Pac12 Championship game? I think that buys him a little time, because Arizona has never won anything.

I keep reminding myself not to think of the playoffs until we have a "W" against OSU, and even then, we'll likely have to beat Wisconsin again. It's harder to beat a team twice.

Maybe we still get in with a loss in the Big Ten Championship, I don't know. Still would be crappy. Winning a national championship but losing the Big Ten... man, Bo would be rolling in his grave...

Jim just saw the Cubs win the WS, I wager he knows he has to follow suit (the quirky guy is a competitor). If I had to guess 6 months ago Michigan winning a NC id have said 1/25 chance. Ill say 1/10 now. Thats not trolling because if "Bama" wasnt in the mix its nearly 50/50.

10-4 in his third season. Now virtually all these players are his own and he's 2-7.

At the beginning of last season I thought Michigan would be at the point they are this year in 2 more years (they are exceeding expectations) . Harbaugh brought Stanford back to NC discussion in 3 years but only 1.5 for this job. Hes kind of like Izzo, he belongs in college sports and thats nothing less than apparent. The Pro players arent going to listen to the passion these guys have to give. The Bucks will be the test this year, meet the challenge and the door is wide open.

Rod Richriguez is "embarrassed."

?Obviously, I?m embarrassed,? Rodriguez said. ?We should be embarrassed. ? Gosh, it was a nightmare.?

Anger, frustration, confusion and even embarrassment are in abundant supply around the Arizona football program these days. The Wildcats have lost six games in a row, and the latest was by far the ugliest: a 69-7 defeat at Washington State that ranks among the worst setbacks in the history of UA football. source, tucson.com

Every time I see a UA score or hear/read Rich Rod, I think of that ****y younger brother of one of RR's Defensive coaches while at UM who bet me UA would make the Rose Bowl before MICHIGAN.

Since that conversation, M has struggled yet won a BCS Sugar Bowl and whipped up on Florida last Jan. Also, RR is now 35-27 (.564) ...M under Hoke/Harbaugh since (excluding 2011 when RR sat out and Hoke had his best year) is 39-21 (.650) and counting ...

I don't think Dick Rod has any clue how to run the 3-3-5 either. It was probably just a "new" defensive scheme so he thought he'd use it. Proper implementation be damned.

Those poor bastards! They just don't know any better. Hey, maybe they could pick up Les Miles!
