He's been COY in the Big10 4 times in 17yrs at Iowa. He's had 10+ win seasons 5 times. 3 of them were from 2002-2004. It seems that everytime Iowa gets a 10 win season Ferentz will get COY. He must be liked by the other coaches.

It matters a lot, but in this case less than the fact that Ohio State has destroyed everyone they have played. Margin of victory matters more.

by this measure, Wisconsin shouldn't have dropped much, if at all in my opinion. Really curious to see how they do against OhioSt next week.

by and large, I think the polls are shaking out in a way that makes sense. There's almost no "SEC bias" other than Tennessee who received an absurdly large bump when they beat a crappy Georgia team. if anything, I think some SEC teams, like LSU are underrated now.

the mid majors that are overrated all play eachother, so they should get sorted out eventually.
