Can the Tigers continue to beat up on the Twins this season (7-2 record)? This series could end up determining if we are buyers or sellers. The Twins own the AL’s best home winning percentage with a 28-15 record and are coming off a 3 game sweep of the Orioles. The Tigers are 21-18 on the road. The Tigers currently trail only the Twins by 2.5 games for the last wild card playoff spot.

Price has been excellent on the road this season posting a 5-1 record and 1.86 era in those 9 starts. Lefties are hitting .268 and righties .241 against him. Price is 2-0 with a 1.80 era against the Twins this season. Tigers are 14-3 when Price takes the mound.

Pelfrey has been great at home. He’s 3-1 with a 1.80 era in 7 starts. He’s only given up 5 home runs on the season and only 1 at Target field. He’s 1-1 with a 3.86 era against the Tigers this year, but he’s 0-3 with a 8.51 era in his last 5 starts.

Tigers are hitting .298 (36 for 121) with 1 home run against Pelfrey. Rajai has an 11 game hit streak. Castellanos and JD each have 9 game hit streaks. The Tigers are batting .328 and are averaging 6 runs per game in their last 12 games but have managed just a 6-6 record over that span.

VMart was hitting .216/.308/.578 when he went to the DL on May 19th. He is now hitting .274/.341/.720 on the season since returning from the DL on June 19th.

The Twins are batting .246 (56 for 228) against Price. Dozier is 6 for 24 with 2 homers, Hunter is 8 for 29 with a homer, Plouffe is 7 for 18 and Mauer is 5 for 30 with 7 strike outs.

The forecast for Minneapolis calls for clear skies and temperatures around 80 degrees for first pitch tonight.

Well that's a good start. Kinsler homers. 1-0. 3rd homer of the year 407 feet.

Sit down bum.

Oh and fuck the Twins. Wish they'd go back to last place where they belong.

Price puts the 1st two on but keeps them off the scoreboard.

Probably not a good idea to keep letting the first 2 guys reach base each inning.

That was enforced against us in Seattle

Complete Bullshit

And it's going to lead to a run now, brad needs to go bitch about that some more betwen innings just to let them know it was crap

sure looked like he couldn't reach the bag.

Ok he pitched out of it again I'd still go bitch about that non inference call, he was further away from that bag than JD was in Seattle
