Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread July 24

I was just looking ahead at the upcoming Philly series....I had no clue Cole Hamels was 4-12 with a 4.16 era this year.

Sox have 8 errors in this series and now are only 1 error shy of reaching their total from all of last year. Alexi Ramirez leads the league with 17 errors.

Looking good, going to get to 12 over now 1 game after finally getting over the 10 hump? Why I'd say it certainly looks that way

Omar Infante hit on left shoulder in his fourth and final at bat in the 9th inning for the wmwhitecaps. He trotted to first base and left.
Infante ends his night, 1-3, single & HBP. Infante scheduled to play 2nd base for the Caps tomorrow night.

Driving home listening to XM the 4th inning the sox announcers said Sanchez was throwing a palm ball. 2 different FB, 1 at 90 with late movement, the other 95/96.

Nice to come home and see Tigs beating them.

Dave thanks for posting the lineups.

Jackson has 3 career HR against John Danks. He doesn't have more than 1 against any other pitcher.

So what is it up to now?....since 2011 the Tigers are (potentially) 6-0 without Miggy and have outscored their opponents 30-5.

Dear whitesox,

Stacking LHPs vs detroit doesn't buy you shit anymore.

Thanks,
Tigers

Even though Rondon gave up a run he didn't pitch that poorly. If Perez gets that grounder, no runs score. Rondon could be huge the 2nd half of the season

seriously, 4 of his 9 homers are against us this year...in like a week and a half. its ridiculous.

That freaking viciedo is hitting around .400 against us this year with 4 of his 9 total home runs as smoker brings in Coker for the lefty...smoker mixen up the pen management here so far in the second half...this might be good

And Coker failed but smoker isn't leaving him in for righties anymore! And for the second straight night closer in a non save. :-(
