tUnofficial 2016-2017 Bowl Season Thread

I was flipping it back and forth from another shitty wings game. Has any other big ten team played yet? I'm really not paying much attention to the bowl games?

Maryland lost to. . .someone (didn't watch that one so forgot who the other team was).

Some of these matchups look really lopsided, but that's what happens when you have so many bowl games.

Also, **** OSU, I really hope Washington's speed makes a difference and they win it all. Can't shit their pants just because Bama scores........on defense. Just keep playing, Bama's offense is so vanilla that Washington's speed on defense could really take Bama's freshman qb out of the game. We'll see. I always thought that Michigan matched up better than anyone else against Alabama and that won't happen this year.

I know some refs that should be fired on the spot in the Baylor-Boise game. Utterly disgusting when a punter can fake getting hit when no one is even close to hitting him. Just pathetic and someone needs to be reprimanded.

Considering that guys like McCaffrey and Fournette are sitting out and teams like Florida last year used "not caring" as an excuse for their sloppy showing in the CapOne Bowl, do these Conference Bowl records even matter?

If half the teams don't give a shit about the "exhibitions" why should ESPN give a shit about how the SEC or BigTen does outside of the playoff teams?

Only because ESPN is paid to slob on the SEC's knob.

I actually think CBSSports are the bigger SEC knob-slobberers this season. When you look up CFB scores on their mobile site, the default conference is the SEC! and they were publishing BS "the SEC deserves two playoff teams" WAY later than ESPN this season, even after it was clear the SEC was garbage except for Alabama.

ESPN kinda became ACC knob shiners; they wouldn't shut up about Louisville, Clemson, & FSU for a long time.

Well CBS carries the SEC and the ESPNSEC Network gets their crumbs so they're in cahoots to promote, spin and mislead the CFB public.

It's all bullcrap and why I really don't care about bowl sesson anymore. Make it a 8 or more playoff system and I will start caring . Yeah I want to beat FSU but really is 11-2 or 10-3 any real difference? I am sure Jim will have his kids caring but sadly we ****ed up our chance at greatness at o$u and Iowa. Alabama is going to truck Washington and I could care less about watching O$u verses Clemson.

6-6 NU takes down 8-4 Pitt. Nice game. 6-6 Indiana will take on 8-4 Utah tonight. IU's offense v Utah's defense. Could be a pretty good game if Indiana doesn't revert back to being Indiana.

wonder how they'll play without their psychotic head coach intentionally injuring players during practice?

that's only the third bowl victory in Northwestern football history.

sounds like Fitzgerald thoroughly outcoached Narduzzi

Indiana being Indiana. Their coach is an idiot. They've been avoiding using their qb that can run and got them back in the game. Instead, going with the one who cant run and now cant throw.

IU gets a turnover and goes up 24-23 with 10min left. Impressed that they have hung with Utah this long with such a horrible passing game, but they are a resiliant bunch.

IU blows it. They get the ball back with 1:30 left and cant get within field goal range. Lose to Utah 26-24
