What's with all these spammers

Just deleted about 15 spammers advertising in every forum.
This hasn't happened at DSF in many years.
Have they found a loophole to get in.
Lots of new signups from India too.

I spend most of my time on the Tigers forum.
If any members see these spammers and advertising what could be bad links to get you with malware or something, let me or one of the mods know with a message to us. Thanks.

4:30 AM Sunday morning 6/28 and I found more of these spammers in every sports forum.
Shaggy, are you able to stop them from getting in?

I do not understand why the owner shaggy and new moderators cam and others do not find a way to stop these people from sneaking in here to spam us with this garbage that ruins each forum.

I've said this to you a couple times now, but myself and @PGen98 have very little ability to do much of anything around here. We are still listed as admins, but 99% of our abilities were stripped when the forum was sold.

I can still use the anti-spam moderator function though, so I've used that on the spammers that I see.

Thank you for the response. I thought both of you were still actively able to stop these things from happening. So it is up to Shaggy, but other than when he took over the site, I don't remember seeing him answer anything regarding the forum.
These spammers are here daily. I do what I can as well.

It would either need to be @Shaggy or @Griffin.

If they are willing to restore my abilities, I can resolve the issue. There's definitely some settings that can be changed in terms of the CAPTCHA settings and potentially installing an anti-spam add-on or two. Could also turn on admin approval for new registrations for the time being.

They run a lot more forums than I do, so I'm sure they know what to do. Will gladly help if they don't have time for it though.

I've now gone through and permanently deleted that spam, so moderators will no longer see lists of the soft deleted content around the forum. @kalinecountry, you'll notice that difference right away.

I did see Griffin one day earlier this week and it appeared that he deleted some.
Captcha would stop these from coming into the forum?

Yes, I just did a quick check in the sports forums and saw that the threads of these spammers are gone. Thank you Cam.
