Game 2: Commanders @ Lions Thread

I didn't mind that last call as much. Mainly because they were in Washington territory and they just burned their final timeout, so if St Brown makes the catch game over.

Worth the roll of the dice

Well Defense looked much better today, still not great, but overall they did what was needed. Got that dub.

Makes them need two Td?s.

That?s different clock then td and fg.

A TD and FG with 1 min left is nearly impossible. Also not trusting Siebert to kick a 50 yard FG.

The best call probably would?ve been taking a delay of game and punting it.

That?s the argument I?m marking G. i kick fg or punt like you s said. I
Don?t mind going for it. Great play by db stripped ball out.

Good game. Defense needs work. Gave up 29 in 2nd half is baaaad. 0 rush in 2nd half.

I?m arguing that a 12 point and 9 point lead is irrelevant at this stage of the game. A FG try at 50 yards is just much risk as going for it on 4th down.

We averaged 8 yards a carry again today. Rushed for 191 yards with Swift hurt. We have a potent offense even with the mistakes. Could special if the Alabama kid returns and lives up to his potential.

Wow. The Lions win as favorites for the first time in two years.

What a statistical aberration is that huh?

For two years, when the lions are favorites, they win and cover 100% of the time.

By the start of the game BetMGM had Washington favored by 1. All the late money went to Washington.

Credit Hutch, Swift and Okudah for all gutting it out and playing hurt. That's the type of core group we've been missing for years.
