Game 1: Giants @ Lions *Monday Night Football* Thread

They did what they needed to do.

That secondary is going to be a HUGE concern if they aren't healthy. The lack of depth was shown in literally 5 minutes of football.

Agreed. The D-line can keep the Giants in check, but when it comes time to play real games (not our 5th preseason game) this secondary is everything we all feared it would be.

Just checking in from my Myrtle Beach vacation! That last drive was the 4th quarter dagger that last year's team never seemed to find. Well done.

Deandre Levy is a star. One if the most underrated players in the league.

nice start boys.....granted we always start good....can we just skip to the 2nd half of the year already? lol

Another good game by Mathis. Not bad for 34. They didn't even throw at him

Slay had some good plays, but some huge bonehead plays as well.

Today did nothing but reinforce the fact that Ebron wasn't needed, and secondary help was necessary in the draft. Pettigrew and Fauria are fine. Fauria even was able to put on the burners on a quick hitter. I wish Dennard or Clinton-Dix were lining up in the backfield, and not Jerome freaking Couplin.

Levy is amazing, the NFL players voted him one of the top 100 players I heard on the Radio

the headline on ESPN will be: "What's wrong with Eli and the Giants?" Almost no mention of how we played. I'm sure it'll be the typical garbage.

Stafford 21-31 334 yards, 2 tds 0 picks 0 fumbles 0 turnover chances
