If Simmons is on the board at #9...would you trade 2nd/both 3rds/next year 1st to Jax?

Let me specify on Okudah he has very good athleticism and size. I think his close out speed is superb. But I think when the ball is in the air he is poor with his timing

What an absolute fucking joke. Do not tell me you couldn’t swing a trade with Chargers or a dolphins to move down to 6 or 5 for even a middle round pick and still get your guy. Shit even if you don’t want Tua draft him and hold him hostage as trade bait after the fact. Worse case you’re stuck with him once Stafford is done.

Considering they both got their guys at 5 and 6, it's safe to say the Lions had no leverage. I imagine they were privy to info that made it unnecessary to trade up.

Ya we lost out on value for sure. Okudah...i like hes on our team....but theres no way in hell hes worth a #3 pick in the draft.

Sure they did...pick Tua...then you have all the leverage in the world.

2nd and both 3rds or next years 1st but not all four of that. Simmons is The real deal IMO they should have taken him at #3...idiots

So in that case draft Tua and call their bluff. The leverage has swung to you

Tua injury screwed the trade value and the amount of qbs available in free agency

Dubbsco said it best. You better be the best corner in the league and a hall of famer. Anything else is a bust.

I think that Okudah is going to be a great CB. I think he's going to be better than Trufant on day one.

I wasnt sold on Brown...at 9 i wouldnt have minded. But im glad we didnt take him at 3. Actually i wasnt sold on anyone at 3.

I think that Quinn should have traded down even if it weren't the same "chart value". I think Okudah would have been there as low as 9
