Darius Slay named to 3rd-straight Pro Bowl with Golladay + Stafford Now Slay traded

Wow 3 year, 50 million extension with the Eagles. Puts him just over the contract Byron Jones signed with the Dolphins to make him highest paid DB in the league (based on Average per year).

Yea although Quin's best rounds have been the 3rd and 4th. With golladay and walker he's hit something that says he can sometimes get lucky. I just dont know whats gonna happen in the 1st. do you take okudah regardless now. Do you like amani o. Enough to not look to replace slay. They grabbed collins so do they think lbs are done now or do they still like simmons who is a freak athlete but undersized. But maybe young falls and everything is available. This is just another hole they need to fill. And trufant isnt as good which is fine but this team doesn't feel better then last year at this point. But injuries killed us last year too.

My parting words to Slay is be careful what you wish for...b/c living up to your new fat contract may not match Iggles fans and Philly sports pundits' lofty expectations.

i was really hoping to squeek out a late 2nd for him. But fully expected a 3rd. CB is now a glaring hole yet again. Unless we get Logan Ryan im assuming you can expect an Okudah draft choice at 3 or 5.

46 min video buffers constantly making it impossible to watch...and its over a GB in download size. Decided not to b/c why should it take Birkett over 45mins just to "break down" a freaking trade?


Iggles fans on their SB nation forum seem to be much more vehemently opposed to what the brass gave up in two picks to the Lions, rather than the cost of making Slay one of the highest-paid CBs in the NFL over the next few years. That is likely b/c of the utter lack of respect that Detroit and the Lions get from most other NFL teams' fanbases.

As a fan, I've lost all respect for Darius Slay, same as I would for any player who gets traded and then has to become a whiney bitch to the media.
