Gruden racist?

who was whining about Gruden when the investigation started, or even after? I didn't hear a peep about him - in any context - until I saw headlines that he was fired for racist and homophobic emails.

Sounds like there was a little more to that story though.

I don't think "the loudest whiners in the room" even know who Gruden is.

Who said anyone was whining about Gruden specifically? This movement doesn't care who they take down so long as their made up claims of systemic racism, anti-LGBTQ and other nonsensical woke priorities are elevated to be the most serious crime that can be committed. So long as anyone who doesn't toe the line can be labelled an oppressor and canceled I don't think they give a rip who it is. And that's precisely why this thing will eventually fall in on itself, because at some point the folks supporting are going to fall victim to it. There's no such thing as woke enough.

I think that the NFL "should" scrub every email of every NFL employee from Goodell to the ticket takers to sanitize the league and restore the purity that was once so prevalent, prior to the 1970 merger.

Let's scrape to the bottom of the kettle.

From the other links posted here, and this SI article, sounds like Roger Goodell fired him because he called Roger a F _ _, but read whatever you want into it, I guess.

"the woke mob" probably also started WWII, right? And assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

The League is probably doing that right now. Goodell has his NKVD on the case

Roger thought he would be catching flack over this for being thin-skinned and vindictive, but can't believe his luck that retards are blaming "cancel culture" instead and ranting about that.

I'm willing to bet there was a lot more in those e-mails than just some 'big lips' jokes for Gruden to resign. Gonna leave my anti-woke pitchfork put away until we see the rest.

How dare you not rush to judgement with only a fraction of the information! It's clearly cancel-culture at it again and there is no way this might be justifiable if someone actually waits for the whole story to come out.

I think this is all probably a massive fraud orchestrated by the repo-dem chicom liberals and their puppet master Fraudchi! I just know it!!!!!!

*excuse me while I contact Alex Jones to inquire why my latest shipment of boner pills has been delayed.

wait, wait, wait everyone - all this talk about racism and homophobia is just a distraction, it's Roger Goodell's hurt feelings that got Gruden fired! Yeah, that's not what that article says and good straw man arguments you threw in there at the end - you'll hang on to that "woke mob doesn't exist" at all costs, not your credibility though because you have none.

...

If it was shipped USPS, it's because of government waste. It's your own fault for using a socialist institution instead of a capitalist one.

If it was shipped UPS, DHL, or FEDEX, it's because government red tape is slowing them down.

So long as it looks at both sides of the sword. And, of course, the unasked question is: ?where was the due diligence? from the outset? And what will result from this fallout? Mandatory BCCs to the NFL Security Department, from NFL- authorized computers with surveillance software?

Hey, if it?s good enough for online learning, it?s good enough for the NFL.

I just want to see the rest of the emails. I want to be able to decide if they are racist, anti LGBTQ, anti female, or funny.

Exactly. Jon 'put it in the turkey hole' Gruden is capable of so much more than a joke about lips. I know it. I want to see the goods.

It was my understanding Gruden was not employed by the NFL when he sent these, so these were likely sent to the NFL by people with an axe to grind against Gruden.

If the NFL acquired these emails by scrubbing non-NFL servers, well that could be a bit messy.

Pretty sure the NFL did not do any deep dive into servers they did not own or control.

Granted, what I read may not have been a reputable source, I'm merely commenting on the NFL scrubbing servers they do not own/control having potential legal consequences, therefore the NFL was likely forwarded the messages by the people who received them.

This isn?t counter culture crap.

NFL is Whacking Gruden and protecting other people. These were not personal emails from a personal computer. They were corporate emails sent to Allen I think and others. Not only did Gruden say Homophobic, racist, ect emails. He question drafting Sam at the time.
Gruden even nailed The NFL commissioner in the emails and went after The concussion study and women officials. They probably found all this stuff ( and other stuff) when they were investigating Snyder right ? Hell they we passing photos of topless Cheerleaders. No way he was going to survive this. No wonder the NFL never released the Findings of The investigation of Snyder. Once it was found that he said something about the commissioner his days were numbered.

Ah, I was not following this story very closely in the beginning a d misunderstood a few points.

Yeah, Gruden got what he deserved. Even if one believes as he apparently did, the stupid part is sending it to/from corporate email accounts. And not just one time or about one specific topic. Nope, he left no stone unturned. That is never going to be in the best interest of one's long term professional career, and potentially not good for one's personal life either.

I would say something like, "His name is Mudd now" ...except Mudd was correctly ruled innocent of any wrong-doing while Gruden, yeah he didn't go too far...past too far and kept going.

Even 10 years ago there was no place for his comments within corporate email environments. Didn't any of the IT personnel discover a shred of this info? Not that they are actively looking for stuff, but even back then there should have been filters in place to some extent.

Thankfully, none of it is my personal problem!

I expect that the content of Gruden?s e-mails are as shocking and nefarious as these ? iconic? performers booked for SB [ROMAN NUMERAL]:

?Bitch getter, hid in the bush like Margot Kidder
Jumped out, killed the bitch and did her
Used to let the babysitter suck my dick when I was littler
Smoke a blunt while I'm titty-fucking Bette Midler?
?Slap dips, support domestic violence
Beat your bitch's ass while your kids stare in silence?

Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks
Lick on these nuts and suck the dick
Gets the fuck on after you're done
Then I hops in my coupe to make a quick run

Slut, you think I won't choke no whore / Til the vocal cords don't work in her throat no more?!"

It's like tonight is the night by Betty Wright
It's my first piece of ass and it's awfully tight
But I'm still finna handle my business like a dog
Feeling that pussy, yes y'all

So lay back baby girl, and take a trip with me
I got the drink on deck, so take a sip with me
Drip with me, while I swing my thang
Reminiscing 'bout the first time Doggy Dogg came

?Artists like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were at the forefront of the West Coast hip hop revolution, so to be able to bring them back to LA, where it all began alongside Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will prove to be an epic, unforgettable celebration of the impact hip hop has today," Pepsi vice president Todd Kaplan said in the NFL's announcement.

"The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show has become a landmark cultural moment ? and we are thrilled to bring together such an incredible array of talented, record-breaking musicians to put on a performance for the ages."

Thrilled. Of course. ?Thrilled? is the go-to adjective for BS PR like this. Yet, Gruden is now a pariah, while these performers who publically portrayed their attitude for money are lionized.

(Apologies to the Blessed Mother for posting this pernicious content, but we need to expose all of it, right?)

Oh man! I need to put The Chronic on now while I work... thanks for putting those lyrics back in my head.

Got that killer drum break playing in my head now.

yeah, I'm sure it has nothing to do with "counter" culture. The Buccaneers probably removed his name from the Ring of Honor because he said mean things about Roger Goodell 10 years ago. NFL fans are notoriously fierce defenders of Goodell - you might say they're GJWs (Goodell Justice Warriors) and they would never stand for someone disparaging the beloved commissioner.

I speculate that Gruden?s biggest offense was rejecting the NFLs Social Justice agenda. Given how the NFL is specifically selective of its discipline of players in other matters, so long as they do not criticize the league?s off-field initiatives, they are safe.

Billionaire team owners siphon public money out of city budgets for their stadiums, tax breaks and what not... presumably taking dollars from public welfare & public service budgets (since we know they don't cut police salaries or budgets), which mainly benefit the poor, who need them, and who are typically minorities.

The NFL's Social Justice Agenda is the fig leaf covering that all up. So the owners (via Goodell) don't want it being criticised by their employees. and when they fire Gruden (a token scapegoat really) for doing it, half the population is mentally wired to blame the other half, not the real culprits

The billionaires have their cake and eat it too.

I don't blame the teams...I blame the cities. If they think they are getting screwed over in the deal, tell the team to fuck off. Build your own stadium or move.

the cities and more specifically the politicians who take the money and saddle the citizens with the risk. I don't think the average citizen would go for these deals if they knew who was paying for them and what they cost.
