Man, Bernie Sanders is so great

Did California even lose power? I thought they were just concerned they would.

And if they did lose power, did it cause several hundred deaths, and billions in damages to peoples' homes and businesses?

Here?s where MSNBC?s Alex Wagner talks about Newsom ?trolling? Republican governors. Day-um, hitting middle age, that girl is still pretty cute.

Could be.

Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom has spent a lot of time and campaign money in Texas, lately campaigning to be re-elected Governor of California.

Grid problems seem to follow the guy around.

Like the Republican governors of Texas and Florida, Newsom is very popular with his constituents, for whatever reason.

He recently violated his own edict - something he loves to do - by taking his security detail to Republican Wyoming or Montana, or something, to visit his Republican in laws (he has made an executive order forbidding state money to be spent by state employees to visit Republican states).

Whateves.

The more time Newsom spends out of Cali bashing popular Republican governors in their own states, the better.

It?s time when he?s out of California.

he also travelled to Texas recently in violation of that same edict. Rules for thee but not for me.

You?re preaching to the choir, bub.

I?m watching that interview with the eternally cute Alex Wagner and hearing Newsom tell lie after lie, and suddenly I realized thing to myself ?wait, what Tinsel? You live in the state where he?s the governor. You know when he?s lying because when he lies his lips move.?

I saw a video of him from a little over 10 yrs ago as mayor of San Francisco promising to end homelessness in the city within 10 years. I wonder how that's going...

When was the last time LA experienced a severe winter storm or hurricane?

It was less (not at all, really) about defending shithole California and more about shitting on ERCOT and Texas.

It's funny. 3 of the loudest states in America are probably the 3 I'd least likely live in. Watching you guys trash Newsome, Desantis, and Abbot and I'm generally just nodding my head in approval the whole time. I have no dog in the fight. Literally. Fuck all three.

Good for you.

We don?t get to wake up every day to the Saginaw/Cheboygan smokeshow in Lansing. She may be a big ol? libtard but she?s a hot libtard with a V next to her name. I?ll take her six days a week and twice on Sunday over the jack ass who is the governor of the state where I live.

Also, Michamp and I kind of have a right to bitch. Between the two of us, we live in two of the three afflicted states.

100% If I was a 'hopes and prayers' kind of guy you'd both be towards the top of my DSF list for that reason.

?at duping fools into giving him money. Dirty, smelly, socialist moron hippy Bernie Sanders is selling $95 tickets to his ?It?s OK to be Angry at Capitalism? event. The beautiful irony is he?s selling the tickets through Ticketmaster, which has a virtual monopoly on the industry. I guess he doesn?t hate monopolies when they make him rich.

MC, you don?t have to shell out $95 (plus Ticketmaster fees) to get a hug from another Bernie worshipper to sooth your deep emotional pain caused by capitalism. Some tickets are only $35 (plus Ticketmaster fees).

Edit: don't forget to stop by the merchandise booth on your way out to purchase a "Feel The Bern" t-shirt and any of his books you haven't already bought. Do you think they charge extra for t-shirts that already smell like someone who hasn't bathed in a month?

Bernie couldn't connect two dots if they were this far apart . .

It is pretty ironic. He's the headline in a capitalistic event titled "It's OK to be angry at capitalism"

what is there to say? it's been disappointing.

don't build statues to anyone while they're still alive... don't make "Man ___ Is So Great!" threads to any politician while they can still sell out and get marginalized into a senate back bencher.

The irony doesn't stop there, I'm sure. No doubt there will be booths/stands all over the place where he'll be hawking his wares to anyone willing to cough up their cash for a t-shirt, one or all of his books, etc.

Bernie had already sold out when you made this thread and he's always been a senate back bencher.

The guy has accomplished nothing in his career other than get rich off of suckers like you by taking advantage of the very economic system he pretends to hate. Maybe he really does hate it, but only when other people benefit from it.

Sanders all but admits he's a grifter...

First he struggles to explain the difference between equality (opportunity based) and equity (outcome based). Eventually gets it right, then says he's more for equality. Not the answer you'd expect from a guy that's been advocating for socialism for 50+ years.

To be fair, it looked like the old man fell asleep and was caught off guard when Maher asked the question.

But ... Bernie Sanders was great when he played for the Lions, right?

Amazing. Of all the disappointments Lions fans have suffered, his early retirement from football has to be one of the biggest.

Oh, for the Love of God?don?t get me started on Bernie?s career with the Lion, or the Lions in general.

First of all, for all my seasons as a Lions fan, I never ONCE saw Bernie run to convert a first down EVER to extend a drive that would extend a season in crunch time.

That being said, I?m not gonna carry on about Bernie here. I?m just gonna go onto the Lions.

Let?s go back to the end of the 1997 calendar season.

Let?s say you are the Lions, and you?re looking to draft a quarterback from just up the road.

And there is a quarterback from just up the road, whom has lead his storied and legendary program to its first national championship in 50 years.

So you go ahead and draft a quarterback from just up the road? But the quarterback I just described is not the quarterback that you pick!

Oy, vey!
