Sports books aren't rooting for them. Looks like there are a few pretty big early bets on UM. $30K @ 125 to 1.

looks like 60k (a pair of $30k bets from a customer in Illinois) at unknown odds. The piece says the 125:1 odds were in December, the piece says the bets were made in February. Their record in Feb was between 13-1 and 18-1. Would be interesting to know what odds they got.

Since COVID. Apparently safer and easier to replace teams that have to opt out.

?With the first round starting a day later, the second will follow suit: Round-of-32 games will be played Sunday, March 21, and Monday, March 22. The Sweet 16 moves from its typical Thursday-Friday setup to the following weekend: Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28. Subsequently, the Elite Eight will move to Monday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 30.?

^^^^^^^ What’s really weirder is girls — or boys — playing Lacrosse without helmets. ^^^^^

More to the *point* when my smart a44 son was a high-school senior and offered his bio for the Varsity Hockey program he played for, in a response to the question “Favorite Movie,” his answer of “Mean Girls” stood out in a crowd of “Braveheart,” “Saving Private Ryan,” The Departed,” and “Gladiator.”

Tina Fay was not gonna cover Rachel’s face for anything as trivial as authenticity.

EDIT: Thinking it over...the brave and heroic protagonists of those other mentioned films?

Regina George would eat their lunches.

Texas Southern it is!

I keep saying: Yes, Michigan lost Livers. Johns Jr is going to play and so is Chaundee Brown. These 2 guys are both good enough to start on some of the teams Michigan will be playing in the first couple of rounds...

Well, the Spartan's season ended late last night. I thought they had a good chance to make a run.

I thought they did a thursday-saturday, friday-sunday kind of thing.

Edit: Never mind I saw up top.

I guess the committee knew what they were doing when they made MSU a first four team after all.

They didn't even know you're only supposed to foul when you're behind late in the game, not when you're ahead. Either they had it backwards or they were just totally confused.

Illinois getting a lot of calls. Cofi kills people at one end, no call. He gets little contact at the other end and it's a foul
