It looks like the Tigers have re-signed Jacob Barnes. Detroit released him on June 18th, and then he spent the next few weeks with Seattle before being designated for assignment.

Eric Haase also has 30 HR and a 105 OPS+ in his past 158 games (dating to the start of 2021).
Teams asking about Haase, watch AA give him away for a good field no hit backup infielder.

I can't help but think there are some internal power struggles with the new Tigers front office staff in all the departments including player development and the analytics are going back and forth with the Avila lackeys like Leyland and fuck stick David Chadd who had his assistant GM title removed and given one of those jobs upstairs like many before him. Guys like them and Avila penchant for giving away players for peanuts.
This just makes me seriously doubt this team is going to do anything great as long as Chris Ilitch owns the Tigers. He is at the top of this pile of manure.

What a crappy at last bat by JC. Misses a slow meat pitch right down the middle for a swing strike and then swings at two really bad pitches to K with tying runner at third. He is are only run producer today because we scored our weekly run production last night. Still I expected a better at bat by jc I. The 8th.

Maybe . Sadly we have the same GM still in charge making the trades for his second rebuild.
I cannot believe he is getting another chance.

Beaz fucks up again at SS and gets no outs on slow roller Bases loaded. Terrible throw. Runner at first should be out. Look to second
Cost JB then he made a bad throw.
