I seriously doubt DET moves Turnbull to the bullpen with this demotion..its just an opportunity for him to breathe and get right..however if he continues to struggle with Manning and Skubal both expected back in the next 6 weeks..you bet your ass its on the table after that.

The other subtle thing I noticed yesterday..after Fetter made the mound trip..Turnbull's stuff ticked up a ful level for 9 hitters..he then got comfortable again..lost focus and grooved a FB..Hinch and Fetter are tired of it..and Harris has no track record with good Turnbull.

Okay, Bob.

First, this game isn?t over.

Second, the team has won five in a row going into this game, against two playoff teams from last season.

The team is far from out of the hunt to get to the postseason - the day started with the Tigers tied with the Guardos, who made the postseason last year. It?s baseball, ya don?t win every day, even great teams fail spectacularly fairly often. I?m optimistic about our Tigers.

Third, thanks for starting the game thread. Next time, can ya maybe include the starting lineups?

Dickerson said the 2 Baez error was terrible. When I say rip I mean behind close doors you tell the team this is not how we play. Dickerson said Baez should have absolutely had fielded that second error cleanly. Difference between 1 game under .500 and 3 sadly.

2nd I was driving for work and doing it all on the fly so next time if I didn?t put lineups in I means I probably can?t.

Just hate to see a 6-3 lead blown.

I volunteered to start the game thread any day there isn?t a game.

After a somewhat rocky start, our Tigers, at right around only 20% into the season, are not out of the hunt, and getting better as opposed to worse.
