Along with Hunter extending his hitting streak to 11 games, Miguel Cabrera (10 games) and Victor Martinez (7 games) have also extended theirs.

With Avila's home run, this is the third straight game that every Tigers starter has at least one base hit.

Torii Hunter now has six multi-hit games in his 11 game hitting streak. He's hitting .396 (19x48) during the streak.

AJ has wagon hitch speed on the bases, off the mound slower roller to SS.. still out by a mile

Jackson 4.45 to 1B on that play off the glove of the pitcher. He's so slow out of the box; that's not a good time. long swing slows him, 4.3 is average for a RHH.

Nice thing about not feeling like they have started out this well, (which IMO is due to the pen and miggy proving to be human) is no complacency what so ever..that's a good thing

Tigers came in 18th in MLB in runs scored, but 6th in runs per game. That just goes to show how many games everyone else has played. This is going to be a busy summer for Detroit. Days off will be very hard to come by.
