home plate umpire tonight is supposed to be Joe West.
Not certain, but this might be first Tigers game Joe West has worked since Leyland talked about tensions running high in Anaheim.
That Angels series had West, Angel Hernandez and Angel Campos all on the same crew. West is the only one of that trio on this crew.

Raburn is a better hitter than Santiago.

they are basically even, clownburn has about double the at bats than RS, who know if RS was given the amount of chance clown has then he may be have better stats...or may be not,
