Tigers vs. Rangers Game #52 5/29/2023

Shame because that 2-0:pitch to Spencer was a ball and he checked his swing. Man when is the light going to come on for Spencer.
 
Back to two games under. 500 sadly. Hopefully we can grab a game in this

Since Tigers did not score any runs, this is a moot point. But is a question. none the least. And a clue as to why they lost. You can not win when you give up extra runs..

It really is a shame. Ray?s Houston, Los Angeles dodgers, Braves , Yankees , others all seem to draft well and make splashes and splash in the post season. Why is it the Tigers can?t have that run of excellence and sustain it ? Others break through like the Phillies and Nationals. We need Chris to get involved and demand a winning team and product on the field in my opinion. Man Dombrowski, and then Avila really have made it difficult to get over the hump. Detroit needs the playoffs soon. In anything! Like the new President and the direction because this was another rebuild in my opinion.

I heard it mentioned on national media today that the Tigers went into today just one game out of first place in their division.

My point isn't a wins or losses point. It was a confidence thing. Boyd finally got a 6 inning quality start. Should've ended his day there.
