Great job everyone... This game was much better then yesterday's heat attack game for me...

I think my kids want to watch a movie or something

When the Tigers win I want to have a victory drink before bed, when the Tigers lose I want to drink till I pass out.

I know it sounds like the same thing....but it only sounds that way.

KalineCountry[/color]]Tigers beat the suckass twins 7 - 1 = Check.
Verlander wins his 18th = Check.
Everybody is happy = Check.
Tigers Victory Cigar = Check.

Need to win the rubber game tomorrow night with...gulp... Penny on the hill. Hopefully the Tigers can kick Pavano's ass again like they did in the game about a month ago..

For those watching the game on TV, was the umps strike zone really tight?

It seemed like he wasn't giving them anything on the edges, but I didn't have the best view.

And the second base ump, did he blow some of those close plays (Young being thrown out)? because it seemed they were safe.

Hi pal, Well it looked like he squeezed Verlander a few times on the outside corner to lefthanded hitters, and showed it on the gameday k zone too.
As for the second base ump, idk maybe someone else can add to that, the single in the 6th? when Cabrera was called out sliding into second, the ump was blocked on the play, which happens alot, just looked like Miggy had the bag with a hand, but whatever. Must be "electric" at the park when Verlander pitches. A little anxiety the first inning with the 29 pitches, but 0 runs. Verlander is a Machine.
