Tigers 1st inning,

Jackson first pitch lines a double to center,

Magglio grounds it foul past first, fly to shallow right,

Young curve inside strike call, another in, cutter fouled back, takes high, inside, swings and misses a changeup,

Cabrera fastball inside, curve inside, high, way inside for a walk,

Martinez first pitch line single to center and Jackson scores,

Tigers lead 1 - 0,

Avila takes on the corner no strike call, grounds it foul, curve strike call, ground foul by first, fastball outside, curve ground at the plate, way inside Alex backs up full count, changeup ground foul of his foot, another foul, curve strike call,

buerhle with 24 pitches nice,

Tigers lead 1 - 0.

Anyone who can see the game.....is Max hitting the spots Avila is setting up?

Cause while he's doing okay, GameDay makes him look wild as all hell.

He's getting good movement on his pitches, and getting the low and outside strike calls. Command seems to be good, but this ump has a strange strike zone.

So what is the story behind Young playing so deep in LF all the time. Just Curious.

Scherzer 2nd inning,

FFpierzynski strike call, fastball outside, fastball fouled back, slider in the dirt, broken bat bloop to Peralta,

Max with good movement in on wsox batters hands so far,

viciedo fastball in, slider strike call, swings and misses another, squeezed at the knees, low check swing no strike call, swings and misses a slider,

rios slider strike call, fastball in, fastball on the corner strike call, slider low, bloop to left Young playing maybe deeper than he should drops in single,

deazza fastball high, fastball strike call, changeup strike runner trying to steal throw is high and tag put on ump says out, ok,

Scherzer with 28 pitches,

Tigers lead 1 - 0.

TinselWolverine[/color]]Did our Tigees actually get a little break on that inning ending out call?

they might have high throw and looked like rios was already in there.

I also like the fact KC that Buerhle has 24 pitches. Hopefully we can knock him out early on.

another one or two innings like that would be nice,

maybe he doesn't go back on fly balls that well, he seems to be a bit of an adventure out there,

The question is: How bad will it come back to hurt us later, cause these things usually tend to even out.

better command than some recent starts so far.

Tigers currently have 4 2nd basemen on the roster.. Rhymes, Guilllen, Santiago and Raburn. Or only 1 true 2nd baseman.. But I hope Guillen is done for the season..

Inge thinking to himself: "Yea, you guys cant touch this!"

Tigers 2nd inning,

Peralta strikes out swinging,

Raburn grounds out to short,

Inge takes low, fastball fouled, ball, fouled back, reaches for a low changeup slow grounder to third and it's thrown away Inge to second single and E5,

Jackson curve strike call, changeup swings and misses, fastball in, swings and misses down and in,

buerhle with 41 pitches, nice,

Tigers lead 1 - 0.

re: young in the outfield: he blows on defense. he's slow and takes abysmal routes.

That was mighty generous of the score keep to give cringer a hit on that. good throw woulda had him but hey he's up to .187 C'Mon inger .200 or bust!

He has a rocket arm though..

He needs one as slow as he gets to the damn ball.

Wow K's him on a 98 MPH Fastball.

Did not think Max got up that high, thought he was a 94-96 guy.
