I wouldn't have done it either. 13 points would be fine with me. There's still enough time for them to score a TD and kick 2 fg's...at least then it would be a tie and not a loss now. Hopefully it doesn't come into play.

Difference between 13 and 14 is huge. Textbook time to go for two.

So much for bend but don't break. The Saints defense just collapsed on a 66-yard TD pass from Matthew Stafford to Golden Tate on third-and-10 for a 25-13 Lions lead.
Tate broke wide open. Saints CB B.W. Webb was the closest defender but it's unclear what led to such a big breakdown.

The Saints brought zone pressure on Matthew Stafford's TD pass to Golden Tate. But with the safety leaning to the inside seam route, there was no help over the top of Tate on the vertical. That's a bust. And a 66-yard TD for Tate. Lions lead 25-13 in the fourth quarter.
