Least clutch MSU team I can remember. Can't get stops or buckets when it really matters.

    Hoops vs OSU

OSU is game in the first half. Winston held under double figures until the very end. Ward out the whole second half. Tillman in foul trouble part of the second half. A decisive second half run came with a lineup of Loyer, McQuaid, Ahrens, Goins, and Kithier. Unbelievable. McQuaid and Goins...

    Hoops vs Purdue

Looks like this is the game where the injuries and the schedule is catching up with them. Who is the genius again who made the schedule so that they play 3 games in a week, 2 of them on the road?

    Indiana

JJJ looks like he's single-handedly defending the entire IU team at times.

    MSU vs Miami

Well, this game couldn't start any worse.

    Penn State

Well avoided the bad loss in resounding fashion. I would think that gets us in. Now can try to play to move up a little bit in seeding.

    Purdue

The refs are not the reason we're losing this game, but I am pretty sure the Big Ten has the worst collection of officials of any sport at any level. Period.

    MSU vs Oakland

Tough game and strong comeback in the second half. Oakland looks like a legit team to me, and I'd say a heavy favorite win the Horizon and be one of those "teams nobody wants to play" in the first round (or 2) of the NCAAs. Harris stepped up big and Forbes was on fire all game long...

    Hoops Today

Not a lot to say about it. Pretty good first half, sloppy second half against an overmatched opponent. Too many turnovers and brutal from the FT line (15 of 27). The stats tell a different story, but the defense wasn't all that good. 3 point shooting was good again. Ellis is working his way...

    NCAA seed

Anyone think we've done enough to get back up to the 3 line or would we need a win tomorrow? I had seen some projections with us at a 5 a couple of days ago though probably more still had us at 4. It might depend on how much of a break they get, if any, for some of the injuries. At any rate...

    vs Illinois

Another solid road effort. Harris finding his shooting stroke. 8 points and 6 blocks from Costello. If he can perform like that as a complement to Payne when he comes back, look out.
