Hillary Clinton is at least the devil I know and I can be reasonably assured that there will not be tear gas on my street if she is elected. Other than that, there is no reason whatsoever to support her candidacy or her administration.

She might be the most corrupt Presidential candidate in my lifetime...and I might vote for her. I'm going to need a bigger stockpile of F-bombs for this election.

this is the sentiment I was referring to in my OP ...that people will vote more against the other but for most Dems and those in the middle, they'll drop an FBomb and vote Clinton just for these reasons..

well... if you consider Dick Cheney effectively the president from '01-'09, Halliburton writing him a $21 million "severance bonus" immediately before he took office in return for billions in "no bid" contracts in Iraq (which more or less saved the company from his disastrous acquisition of KBR as CEO)... that's the most corrupt thing I've witnessed in my lifetime. it's basically so corrupt, the word "corruption" fails to describe it adequately.

Billary's speaking fees for the "Clinton Foundation" in exchange for defending Wall Street from the CFPB (Wall Street already effectively captured the SEC and controls it) is the 2nd most corrupt thing I've witnessed from a presidential candidate.

If we survived 8 years of Bush-Cheney, we can survive 8 years of Billary-???

It will be 8 years of status quo DC corruption, instead of 8 years of pushing-the-envelope-further-&-further corruption.

There's no more Billary. At least from the bits I've seen, I don't think Bill has any gas left in the tank. It's just Hillary at this point.

i use the term because I think the policies she'd follow and political appointees she'd make would be virtually indistinguishable from those made from '93-'00.

I don't know if Sanders' candidacy has pushed her to the left in any meaningful or long term way; if anything it's at least drawn attention to the fact that she's hardly the socialist/liberal Republican pundits will make her out to be, so maybe, just maybe the political discussions around her will be more accurate. but probably not, since the same dipshit pundits who write for mass media outlets all still have columns.

More michchamp revisionist history. This is good stuff. How exactly was the the acquisition of KBR a disaster? Oilfield services and the E&C business (Engineering and construction - the business that the KBR subsidiary was involved in) took underperformed in the mid to late 90s and got hit along with everything else in the early 2000s but absolutely boomed from the mid 2000s up until the financial crisis of '08. Also, it should be pointed out that Haliburton never acquired KBR. They acquired another company, Dresser that owned Kellog, an E&C subsidiary which they merged with Brown and Root, an E&C company they bought in the 1960s.

Looks like they bought Dresser kinda near the lows - well maybe not the nut low but certainly seems like a fairly well-timed acquisition and spun off KBR pretty well near the highs. Doesn't sound like a disaster to me - pretty sure most investors would be happy with that.

I can't consider her 'the devil I know' because she changes positions more than Alexis Texas and Bree Olson in a threesome.

Other than the fact that she has been handed the nomination by the DNC, nothing about her is a guarantee.

she might be...

http://buzzpo.com/anonymous-blew-lid-off-hillary-clinton/

I think "blowing the lid off" is a bit of an overstatement - they didn't uncover anything - this would only be news to people born after the mid 80s - but they did do a good job of compiling many of her misdeeds over the past 25 years. So if she's not the most corrupt, whoever has outdone her is one really horrible person...
