FYI..prior to this game, over the last 2 weeks (12 games), just 4 Tigers have a BAVG above .225 (V. Martinez, Cabrera, Kinsler and Castellanos). Only 5 have an OPS above .605, the 4 mentioned before and then add Salty at .752 OPS.

Yea but so far the offence has only scored 6 (> six<) runs in FIVE starts! Been shut out twice.

Run support or not his whip is now over 2.2

The fact his era is only 5.6 is remarkable.

Pelfrey has now given up 21 runs in 5 starts and 25.1 innings! that's a hard handicap to over come for any offence. Got to wonder how long tigers will keep him in the rotation? I mean 20% of your starts will be loses at this rate with one pitcher!
