Jeffrey Epstein matter reopened... going to get ugly

So she's charged and convicted with sex trafficking to nobody? Do you also think that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone? That's so called conspiracy theory existed decades before the internet

She was charged and convicted of sex trafficking girls for Epstein to abuse. You are literally making up your own narrative while blatantly ignoring the facts of the case.

The partial facts of the case. The facts that got hers and Epstein's convictions. If you think that her victims dead-ended at Epstein and that others were not involved, well ... that's your lack of interest or initiative.

I don't believe everything, or much of anything, my self-appointed overlords tell me.

Yeah, seems to be a lot of that going around in the deluded minds of the right winger these days. I'll go ahead and trust that law enforcement is doing their job.

Yeah, I'm not a "right-winger" unless you are referring to the moments when I step on the ice rink during a line change.

But if you trust the alphabet government agencies to always "do the right thing" you ignore their own self-admission of failing to do so, with intent and with catastrophic consequences for innocent people.

I'm sure law enforcement does make mistakes sometimes. Where you fail in your reasoning is by implying that because of any particular failure you could point to in the history of the FBI, that's proof that there's more to the Epstein case than has been revealed.

Have you ever heard of Cointelpro? You think law enforcement only sometimes makes mistakes? You've got a lot of history to learn...

I guess I could "both sides" this one... but it has been amusing in a "wow, we really are a fucked up country" kinda way to have seen "Conservatives" (more accurately - Republitards) go from being all "Law and Order" and "got nothing to worry about if you ain't breakin' the law" to screaming about the deep state and its abuses as soon as that same deep state figured their purposes were better served by working through democratic presidential administrations.

The GOP should've been a lot nicer to Obama for NOT going after Bush, Cheney, etc. for war crimes and intelligence abuses... he did them a solid. And all they did in return was call him an fascist socialistic demon, etc. etc. talk about a buncha ingrates...

A mistake is usually unintentional. I'm talking about intent. MKUltra, COINTELPRO, Paperclip, Mockingbird, Gulf of Tonkin, Warren Commission ... for starters. Intent to deceive.

See above. The FBI is a self-sustaining entity, as is the US government in general. It's in business to remain viable and not to serve us. This is rather axiomatic by now.

That it throws us a few breadcrumbs now and again does not obscure that we exist to sustain it.

Obama did himself a "solid" by not turning himself over.

Hold up, what? What the hell does that have to do with Epstein conspiracy theories? I remember a time when people put some effort into their conspiracy theories. Now it's all "this thing happened so that means this other thing must be true".

The existence of Cointelpro - by itself - disproves your "well, sure law enforcement makes mistakes but you should trust them" canard. They had a systematic program to infiltrate, undermine, harass, and even assassinate left wing groups, black activists, and chicano activists, and it was only revealed when a group of peace activists broke into an FBI office and stole their files.

like You REALLY never learned any of this?

You're now taking the same rhetorical stance & political position with respect to law enforcement that Republitards did prior to 2016 (edit: and still do as long as law enforcement is harassing/attacking people they don't like, especially black people)

Make allowances, MC. The "breakin" occurred on March 8, 1971: the same day as Ali-Frazier I--by design--because the perps figured everyone would be watching the fight.

Well, he seemed to know who buttered his bread.

His repeated shrugging whenever anyone asked why Guantanamo was still open spoke volumes - to me at least

He's the third (and fourth) term of Bush in regards to waging war.

Maybe it's because if he acknowledges that these organizations were corrupt, he'd have to consider the possibility that the Orange Man that haunts his nightmares isn't actually a Russian spy...

Funny how the FBI is the best friend of the right wing nuts when they're announcing investigations into Hillary or Hunter but when they're rounding up Jan 6th rioters or declaring white supremacy a threat, then they're out of control and corrupt.

Really makes you think.

Nothing make you think - you've made that clear. Anyone who thinks white supremacy is a threat, let alone the biggest threat to security in the US clearly doesn't think at all.

And regarding the FBI, LOLOLOL - this is nothing but a poorly thought out false equivalence. Good luck finding a conservative who would praise the FBI - except maybe Liz Cheney. It took years of hounding the DOJ to get them to investigate either Clinton or Hunter and they're actively stonewalling if not sabotaging those investigations. Whereas with Trump they made up evidence out of whole cloth and investigated him for 4 years. The FBI was caught investigating parents for speaking up at school board meetings and labeling Catholics or people who display 2A or the Gadsden flag as potential terrorists. Not many conservatives would say good things about the FBI, other than the field agents that can't do anything about the corruption.

Actually, apple meets engine block. I don't think undercover agents were infiltrating Hillary's inner circle or spying on Hunter. It is about to be held in contempt for withholding information, in fact.

How very surprising that you would come out and say there's no issues with white supremacy in the country.

It's also very telling that you would say something like "taking years of hounding the DOJ" as if that's how the system is supposed to work. Right Wing conspiracy theorists masquerading as politicians don't get to dictate what is and isn't investigated by the DOJ.

As for your other claims, I see you have all the BS right wing talking points on standby. Literally all of your claims are debunked garbage that only the most extreme right wing hacks continue parroting to this day.

You are a textbook example of why modern republican politicians spend all their time with fact free allegations, you silly rubes will believe anything they say without even the slightest number of facts to support the allegations.

It exists, but only a fool would believe it's an existential threat.

That's not how the system is supposed to work - that's an indication of the level of politicization and corruption.

Screaming "right wing talking points" and "racism" and denying obvious evidence doesn't change any of the facts.
