The official 2018 nfl draft thread

SLH was a solid player for Detroit. That's a fact. He left for money with the Titans. I am right on this

Also you ignored the fact that you didn't know he used draft picks to acquire those players.

Pay attention

Mayhew built the Lions into a winner. Now Quinn is perfecting them

He was a rotational player at best. Nothing to brag about.

Mayhew built the Lions into a playoff team from the lowest of lows and was screwed out of playoffs in 2013/2015 with refs and injuries.

Quinn perfecting the team but needs some health of his own (Oline/Ansah) and no more 10 second run offs

Oh, I know he used picks. In most of those cases he wasted those picks. I never mentioned his free agent signings (which also mostly sucked) or anything else. It's you that can't follow a simple dialogue.

A GM needs to draft well and build for long-term success. You're arguing how he used his picks for short term success. I'm talking about the players he scouted and drafted.

Follow along simpleton. You don't look smarter by going off-track and then claiming to know more doing it.

Mayhew drafted well and built a playoff team from ashes of 0-16. you look silly saying he sucks.

He excelled in draft, trades and free agency. He wasted nothing but got terrible injury luck and refs screwing us over in 2013/2015 to get canned plus had cap issues that were not his fault that he had to challenge him. Plus nobody wanted to live in the shithole of Detroit. If the city wasn't such a shit hole, more free agents would come too. That is a huge challenge to the GM. Entice people to the shit hole of Michigan.

Mayhew is a good GM. Quinn is a great GM. Millen is the worst GM in history along with Russ Thomas.

Best, Broyles, LeShoure, Young, Spievey were injuries and hidden insanity in Young's case. Suh was a greedy mother fucker and Ngata was a great way to replace him using a 4th and 5th rounder. Quinn even re-signed Ngata and Whitehead. Fairley had the heart condition. Glad he walked as he's done now after signing for 7 per with the Saints. Levy was a great player then injury in the worst timing possible after a well deserved contract.

Laken and Swanson and Carter were whiffs and Abdullah looked good then another injury. Last chance for Abdullah
