2016

I got the point big time and just like I said you would throw a message board temper tantrum like you always do with the name calling right on que lol.

so you throw a name-calling temper tantrum then pretend like I'm the one that did. I was simply telling the truth, that's not name-calling or a tantrum. you're dumb Bob. really dumb.

I was looking at overall records of each team . Do that and and get back to me on the bad streches for each team? It's not even close..

yeah, before the advent of the forward pass you guys were dominant, no one can deny that.

wow, Bob and champ get even dumber on page 4. totally derailing the thread with the "we used to be better than you" tantrum.[/QUOTE

Vic totally blew you out of the water. Sorry if you missed it genuius. Your head must be swiming with stupid. You can't even take a complaint about your team without melting down. Go read it all again for crying out loud. Holy cow :/.

blew me out of he water with his factually incorrect facts? I guess you missed that part. when people accuse you of being drunk here, you should stop replying "shows what you know, I don't even drink!". its an admission of stupidity and it really doesn't help your cause at all. goodnight dummy.

What better gauge than head to head?

The whole thread was about 11 win seasons, and 10 win seasons. Head to head is a great measure but it is not the only measure at all. You have already mentioned the bad 17 year strech michigan had from 1950-1967 . Msu dominated last 6 of 7 games, and the decade of 1950's was a spartan decade over michigan (7-2-1) if i did it right . But 1955 michigan was 7-2 and one of it's two wins over msu was 14-7 over. All msu fans know how good Munn was
1947.7-2.
1948.6-2-2.
1949. 6-3
1950 8-1.
1951 9-0. AP and upI ranked 2.
1952 9-0. Raked 1.
1953 9-1 AP 3 up 3.
Duffy takes over. He was good.
1954 3-6.
1955 9-1 AP 2 and upi 2.

Now sorry I am rambling but the point is that 1955 loss was 14-7 and in the second game of the season. You can't tell me a 9-1 season is a bad season just because you lost to your rival? I'm pretty sure most fans would take that in a heartbeat?

Michigan lost to Msu 14-7 in 1950 but still won it's 4th big ten title in a row with a paltry 4-1-1 and 6-3-1 over all record michigan won the rose and fished 9th.in AP and 6th in upi. Msu 9-1 finshed 8th in AP and 9th in upi :/ wins and losses happen but you can still have good and great seasons.

And yes 1978 hurt as both msu and michigan tied for the big ten at 7-1.msu beats michigan 24-15 to stop a 8 game losing streak to michigan. But 10-2 is still a good season. Poor Bo. So many close losses in the rose bowl sadly.

no dummy the thread is about preseason rankings and the imbalance between the east and west. the 11 wins thing was to show michturd he doesn't know what he is talking about when he says MSU is barely above average. since then a few Michigan fans with fragile egos have thrown tantrums about their once great program, bit that's not what the whole thread is about. dummy.

Yes I understood that but your premise of those teams in the west having bad cycles aplies to all teams in both divisons which you left out And then the fight about 11 win seasons because you got pissed off as usual on this board and threw a fit after Vic blasted you in it. I get it. You always want the last word on everything.
Your the guy on the message board who throws a fit at everything and contributes nothing but animosity. Have a nice life.

MICHIGAN has forty-one 9-win seasons (or better) in its history ...MSU has fifteen - all-time- and half of them since Obama has been in office.

This last decade or so is without parallel in the annals of Sparty football lore. this is literally the best the program has ever been.

So 25yrs from now will M fans bag on Dantonio like M-haters do Bo for the lack of national titles, despite all the wins over rivals and BigTen titles?? Windows closing ...or perhaps has closed?!

Like I said, it's just this silly little meme going around about 'little brother' and this stat about 11-win seasons I find hilarious.

From 1910-2010 MSU had only five 9-win seasons or one every two decades or so, on average.

basing an entire argument on the last 6 years isn't a cherry pick?

It's hard to accuse me of cherry picking when I'm going off 125yrs and simply stating the #Facts in reply to a silly, cherry picked stat like 11-win seasons.

I also love that two of msu's better seasons occurred prior to WWI but having a history is always frowned up when talking to M fans/alumni.

I guess we should eliminate those years ....so 13 9-win seasons in 115yrs, only five of which that didn't occur since 2000.

I would say a lot of this is tied into the Clinton Foundation, The Department of State, and the 30,000 missing e-mails that are now in the hands of the Russians.
