Game #31 Detroit Tigers @ Houston Astros, Wednesday April 30th, 2025, 2:10 Pm

What was the reasoning for skipping Jobe and letting him go 2 weeks between starts? He was coming off 2 great starts where he had his walks down. Seems like an assine time to skip him
Maybe trying to save him for later in the year. Idk He was not sharp.

Remember he's never pitched more than 91 innings in a year. He'd probably get rest in Toledo as well.

He had a fluke hamstring injury last year that kept him out 6 weeks and still threw almost 100 innings. His arm is fine for 150. If you wanna limit it a bit then do it when hes had a rough outing. Not when hes looked great. That's more of what I'm questioning.

You're probably right and hamstring or not I'm just not sure they want him to go from 91 to 150.

ROSTER ROADMAP.
Totally Tigers

Get ready, Tiger fans, this roster is going to change again soon. The first of the team’s IL players – Matt Vierling – is close to returning.
And the 2 most likely players who will get sent down to make room for Vierling – and eventually others – are the supposed keys to the team’s future.

It sounds like Vierling is first to come back. Send Keith down. Probably no room for Margot when he gets healthy. When Meadows gets back, Jung probably gets sent down.

My one-man curse of the Astros continues... they're like 1-8 or 1-9 now when I go to games, including 0-4 against the Tigers (2 of those losses with Verlander on the mound against very mediocre Detroit teams)
